Book Overview:

What would you do, if two months before your wedding you find out that your best friend and fiance slept together? What would you do if you found out that your best friends baby is your fiance's child? Would you leave, and vow to never, ever see any of them again?

This happened to Kamryn Makita. When she receives a letter from Adele on her 32nd birthday Kamryn's life is once again changed forever.

Adele is dying and needs Kamryn to adopt her five year old daughter, Tegan. As there is no one else to take care of Tegan, Kamryn feels like she has no other choice.

It is a turbulent journey for Kamryn. Through the hardship comes forgiveness, trust, courage and in the end love.

C's Verdict:

This is the wittiest, yet saddest story that I have found so far. All the characters are beautifully portrayed as real humans with real problems. It is very easy to relate to each one of them.

This is a moving read. The theme"What would you do for a friend who broke your heart?" will echo over and over again long after you have finished reading this story.

Read this book you will not be dissapointed.
